Mélanie Chartier

Professional headshot of Melanie ChartierMélanie Chartier has been a Canadian Red Cross volunteer since 2018. She is a member of the Rouyn-Noranda Personal Assistance Team (PDAT). She is also the coordinator of the Regional Emergency Response Team (ERT). She is a member of the Quebec’s volunteer emergency on-call team. Finally, she is an ambassador for the Wal-Mart fundraising campaign for Rouyn-Noranda and Val-d'Or.

Mélanie has a master’s degree in organizational management. She has more than twenty years of experience in regional development with the province of Quebec. She is a civil servant for the Ministère de la Santé et des Services Sociaux. Mélanie is actively involved in her community, and has served on the Boards of various organizations.
 
Mélanie has been a National Member since 2020. Her experiences with the Red Cross have provided her with a good understanding of the organization. She is pleased to be involved in the Society’s governance.

Mélanie lives in Rouyn-Noranda, Québec.
