The Red Cross is there when Canadians need us most. We help build safer communities across Canada by providing local first aid training and education, emergency and disaster support, local health services, migrant and refugee services, and much more. 

Whenever disasters strike – such as floods, wild fires, hurricanes, storms or house fires – the Canadian Red Cross is ready to help vulnerable communities. From building disaster resiliency to providing vital assistance to meet people’s basic needs, we’re there to give support thanks to our dedicated volunteers.
