Lyle Karasiuk

Professional headshot of Lyle KarasiukLyle Karasiuk has been a Canadian Red Cross volunteer engaged in First Aid for more than 20 years. He is the National Volunteer Chairperson for the Canadian Red Cross Council for Health Education; a National Master Instructor Trainer in all Prevention and Safety programs and a training partner.

He is a standing member of the American Red Cross Scientific Advisory Council and the Project Co-Lead of the Emergency Medical Responder Advisory Group for the Global First Aid Reference Center.

He has served on the Board of the Victoria Hospital Foundation for eight years. On the strength of this positive experience, he wants to contribute to the excellence of the governance of the Canadian Red Cross

Lyle received several recognitions for his volunteer engagement; he is a recipient of the Order of Red Cross-Member Level, the Saskatchewan Volunteer Medal, the Sovereigns Medal for Volunteers, the Governor General Exemplary Service Medal, and three Queen’s Jubilee Medals.

Lyle lives in Prince Albert, Saskatchewan.
