Volunteer opportunities with the Canadian Red Cross
Emergency Response Team (ERT) Responder When I was looking for volunteering opportunities the first place I looked was the Canadian Red Cross. It was life-changing, and it really gave me a sense of purpose. My resume has expanded so much by developing all these skills.
We rely on volunteers with diverse skills, backgrounds, and experiences. Skills and experience you already have can be an asset in a range of volunteer roles. If you're looking to learn new skills, make meaningful connections, and improve the lives of vulnerable Canadians, you're bound to find a rewarding role.
You could help Canadians affected by emergencies and disasters recover and rebuild, or you could help an individual or family who has lost their home in a fire.
With a wide range of community support services, you could provide daily support to older adults, people in vulnerable situations and their caregivers; support the delivery of services such as adult day programs, attendant services for persons with physical disabilities, Meals on Wheels, supportive housing, transportation, or participate in Friendly Calls to enhance social connectedness and well-being.
Apply now and we will work with you to figure out which role is the best fit!
