Residents who haven’t returned home

The Red Cross is supporting residents experiencing unmet needs whose homes were severely damaged or destroyed due to the Alberta fires. If you haven’t yet returned home, you are encouraged to book an appointment for a confidential personal assessment by calling 1-888-553-5505.
 
Red Cross assistance will not duplicate existing support either at the provincial or municipal levels, or through insurance.
 
Once you have returned to Fort McMurray, please call 1-888-553-5505 to book your appointment. Appointments will take place at the Red Cross office at 10019B Franklin Avenue, Fort McMurray and last approximately 45 minutes.
 
The hours of operation for the Red Cross office in Fort McMurray are as follows:

Monday – Tuesday: 9 a.m. - 4 p.m.
Wednesday: 10 a.m. - 4 p.m.
Thursday: 9 a.m. - 4 p.m
Friday: 9 a.m. - 12 p.m
Saturday and Sunday: closed
