From April 12-18, 2015, the Canadian Red Cross celebrates National Volunteer Week to recognize its vast network of volunteers who contribute their time and energy to improving the lives of those in need across Canada.
National Volunteer Week is an opportunity to thank the tens of thousands of dedicated volunteers who are an integral part of the Canadian Red Cross. Without their support, the wide range of programs and services that the Red Cross offers would not be possible.
Every day, volunteers provide support and protection to vulnerable communities from coast to coast.
Learn more about individuals across the country who share their experiences volunteering with the Red Cross:
Dave and Dotti Penny, Prince Edward Island
Andrew MacPherson, Victoria, British Columbia
Nico Lacetera, Toronto, Ontario
Martin Minville, Rimouski, Québec
