Our face-to-face fundraising campaigns run year-round. Our fundraisers are active from Monday to Saturday, between 11:00 a.m. and 9:00 p.m., with all fundraising activities concluding by 8:30 p.m. This schedule allows us to reach as many people as possible while being mindful of residents' time and availability.

How the Sign-Up Process Works
Our sign-up process is designed to be simple, secure, and efficient. After speaking with a Canadian Red Cross fundraiser, donor information will be securely captured digitally on a tablet device. Donors will then complete their sign-up through a Toll-Free Third-Party Verification (TPV) Call. This call serves as a final step for donors to confirm their information, verify their payment details, and their intent to donate. This extra layer of authentication ensures accuracy and transparency throughout the donation process. During the sign-up process, donors are prompted to call the TPV center directly from their device. This call ensures that donor information is accurately recorded and verified. How to Recognize a Legitimate Canadian Red Cross Fundraiser
Our Fundraisers:
- Wear Canadian Red Cross branded clothing (vests, coats, or shirts with the Canadian Red Cross logo.)
- Carry official identification badges with their name and photo.
- Possess in depth knowledge of the Canadian Red Cross.
- Carry materials to educate you about our mission and programs.
- Offer the option to set up automated monthly donations using your credit card or direct debit information.
- Will never ask for cash donations.
- Utilize electronic tablets for collecting information, in some areas.
