How you can help
Canadians wanting to provide support can help the people impacted by the tornadoes through making a financial donation to the Canadian Red Cross in one of the following  funds: The Red Cross is working to coordinate emergency relief efforts and get help to people in affected areas as quickly as possible. Money raised will be used to respond to the immediate and/or emerging needs of this disaster in and around the affected areas.

In-Kind Donations
In-kind donations of food, clothing and other items, while well-intentioned, are not being accepted. Miscellaneous items may not always be exactly what the affected people require and would incur storage, processing and transportation costs.

For information on in-kind donations in your region, we invite you to visit:

Volunteering at the Red Cross
The Red Cross is fortunate to already have a network of highly-trained volunteers who are ready to be mobilized to assist with emergency responses. However, the Canadian Red Cross is continuously recruiting volunteers to assist with disaster responses within Canada. Those interested in volunteering with the Red Cross are encouraged to search for future opportunities.
