Naomi Diestelkamp
Youth Representative, Ontario
Naomi first became involved with the Canadian Red Cross in 2007 as a volunteer with the Humanitarian Issues Program in St. Catharines, Ontario and at the Brock University Red Cross Youth Action Group where she acted as Vice-President. In 2009 she acted as co-chair of the National Youth Engagement Advisory Committee's working group on governance. Recently, Naomi has had the opportunity to represent youth on a variety of committees including Ontario Council and Ontario Community Support and Home Care Advisory Committees. As a youth representative, Naomi hopes to assist in the implementation of the youth engagement strategy both in Ontario and across the country. Naomi possesses a Bachelors in Community Health and recently graduated with a Masters of Science in Epidemiology.
