On behalf of the Government of Nova Scotia, the Canadian Red Cross is supporting residents with one-time financial assistance of $1,000 per eligible household. Households must be approved by the Emergency Management Office of Nova Scotia to confirm their primary residence is unlivable due to structural safety and condition.
