The Canadian Red Cross is made up of thousands of volunteers, donors, staff and beneficiaries and each of those individuals has a story to tell or a heartfelt message about the bonds that they’ve made in the last year.
Valentine’s Day is the perfect moment to highlight these wonderful stories and give everyone the chance to send messages of appreciation. The Canadian Red Cross would like your help in sharing the love and spreading the word about the incredible impact that Canadian Red Cross programs and services have on individuals around the world each and every day.
By taking to social media on February 14th and using the hashtag #sharethelove and tweeting @redcrosscanada with your own message, you’ll be helping the Canadian Red Cross promote these wonderful stories while spreading awareness of the work the Canadian Red Cross does in communities across Canada.
Diane R. sent a note about how the Red Cross Health Equipment Loan Program helped keep her husband alive. Two volunteers wrote to thank the Red Cross for giving them the opportunity to spend time together doing important work that makes them feel good. These are messages that #sharethelove and we hope to flood Twitter with messages like this on Valentine's Day.
Join us and send your own message. Or if you know someone with a message to send, please let them know how they can share the love this February 14th. It only takes a moment to send a message that means so much!
