(Winnipeg, Feb. 25, 2014) The Red Cross and RBC Royal Bank are reminding businesses and the public that the deadline is fast approaching to participate in Red Cross Day of Pink.
The deadline to order official Red Cross Day of Pink t-shirts is March 10, 2014. Businesses who register and order their t-shirts by that date will receive a free resource kit.
“On April 9, schools and communities across the province are coming together to promote respect and raise awareness about the impacts of bullying during Red Cross Day of Pink,” said Tansey Buike, Provincial Manager of Fund Development in Manitoba. “If you’re thinking about participating in Red Cross Day of Pink, I encourage you to join us.”
All funds go directly to supporting Red Cross bullying prevention education in Manitoba.
RBC Royal Bank is proud to be the Presenting Sponsor of Red Cross Day of Pink in Manitoba as part of the RBC Children's Mental Health Project, a multi-year philanthropic commitment to community-based programs that reduce stigma, provide early intervention and increase public awareness about children’s mental health issues.
