The Canadian Red Cross has opened the Ukraine Humanitarian Support in Canada Appeal to help people who have been displaced by the conflict in Ukraine when they arrive in Canada.
Funds raised through this appeal will enable the Canadian Red Cross to respond to humanitarian needs in Canada as they arise for people displaced due to the conflict in Ukraine. Our work will help to bridge the gaps in social services and support affected individuals and families as they transition to life in Canada. The services provided by Red Cross may include immediate and ongoing basic needs, referral services, financial support, psychosocial support, granting to community organizations, services to help people displaced connect with their loved ones, and other critical activities that may evolve and change.
Those wishing to help people displaced from Ukraine when they arrive in Canada are encouraged to make a financial donation to the Ukraine Humanitarian Support in Canada Appeal.
