Re-entry Support Centre opened in Jasper, Alberta to assist residents impacted by the fires

At the request of the Municipality of Jasper, and in collaboration with Parks Canada and the Alberta Emergency Management Agency, the Canadian Red Cross is supporting a Re-entry Support Centre in Jasper to provide residents with information and supplies as they begin to return to Jasper and recover from the wildfires.
The Re-entry Support Centre is a one-stop location for information and services as Jasper residents enter the community.
The services on site include:
Teams from a number of agencies will be on hand to help answer questions, provide guidance on next steps, and connect people with available resources.
The Re-entry Support Centre is located at Commemoration Park, 1324 Pyramid Lake Road (adjacent to the Jasper activity centre).
Hours of operation are from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., with core services available between 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

- Utilities information and services, including ATCO and TELUS
- Insurance information and services
- Well-being support, including Alberta Health Services mental health services and 211
- Environmental Public Health Information for business owners and operators
- Household clean-up kits, blankets and hygiene kits
- Other humanitarian supports, including to access Red Cross financial assistance, well-being support, food, snacks, as well as items for children, such as teddy bears and colouring books
