Tom Jackson and Charles Weaselhead receive Order of Red Cross
October 23, 2023 - The Canadian Red Cross has recognized Dr. Tom Jackson, Canadian actor, musician, and activist, and Charles Weaselhead, former Blood Tribe Chief and Treaty 7 Grand Chief, as Members of the Order of Red Cross, which is the organization’s highest award for extraordinary people who have provided outstanding humanitarian service at home and abroad.

Walmart Canada raises more than $4 million for the Canadian Red Cross
September 08, 2023 - The Canadian Red Cross is pleased to share that its annual fundraising campaign with Walmart Canada raised over $4 million this year. This amount includes a $1 million contribution from Walmart Canada and an additional $3 million from their customers and associates.

August 18, 2023 - Donations to the Canadian Red Cross will be used for immediate and ongoing relief, recovery and resilience efforts in response to the fires in British Columbia. Donations may also be used for preparedness and risk reduction for future all-hazard disaster events within British Columbia.
