Why your community needs an AED
Sudden cardiac arrest can happen anytime, anywhere. Having an AED in your community, along with trained individuals, can make a difference in someone's life.- CPR + AED Can Triple Survival Rates: When CPR is performed immediately after cardiac arrest and combined with an AED, a person’s chance of survival can double or even triple*.
- Time is Critical: Survival rates increase significantly when CPR is combined with defibrillation within 3–5 minutes of collapse*.
- AEDs Are Easy to Use: These devices provide clear, step-by-step voice instructions, guiding anyone through the process of delivering a life-saving shock.
- Empower Your Community: Training community members in CPR and AED use gives them the confidence and skills to act quickly in an emergency.
