The Canadian Red Cross Health Equipment Loan Program (HELP) provides short-term loans of health equipment on a donation basis. In the Yukon, the Short Term Loan Program is available in Whitehorse, helping people access essential health equipment when they need it.

Short Term Loan Program | Yukon
The Basic Short Term Loan program assists people recovering from injury, illness or with mobility issues; allows people to return home from hospital earlier and supports individuals in palliative care who wish to spend their final days in the comfort of their own home. Generally, this equipment is required for three months or less.How to Access the Program
- Through the Red Cross program from a private community care provider such as a family physician, chiropractor or physical therapist.

- Licensed Practical Nurse
- Dieticians (IV Poles only)
