Emergency and Disaster Services
When an emergency or disaster strikes, the Canadian Red Cross may work in partnership with first responders, public officials, emergency managers, and alongside other voluntary sector organizations to provide vital services to the public. This assistance may come in the form of emergency food and clothing, emergency lodging, reception and information, personal services and family reunification services. Community Assistance Team
The Community Assistance Team is a pilot project designed to assist communities in British Columbia in increasing their disaster resilience, by providing support with disaster response and preparedness planning and supplementing emergency response activities.Does your community need support strengthening your emergency management capacity?
