Watch our upcoming IHL Conference LIVE

The Canadian Red Cross and College of Law at the University of Saskatchewan invite you to WORLD IN FLUX: Population migration in response to armed conflict on October 26, 2018.

Please join us at no charge for this live-streamed conference on displacement and International Humanitarian Law (IHL). Recognising that armed conflict is a major cause of displacement, we will examine migration within the context of International Humanitarian Law, including global governance, operational responses and protection. This conference will bring together experts, including academics, the NGO community and representatives from the Red Cross Red Crescent Movement, to examine how the law is relevant to population movement and how it aims to  protect vulnerable people, including refugees and internally displaced people.
