Ongoing heavy rains last week and throughout the weekend resulted in flooding in many communities throughout the country, especially in Quebec

The Canadian Red Cross is on the ground in New Brunswick, Quebec, Ontario, Manitoba and British Columbia, providing disaster relief services -  including accommodation and food. Volunteer teams also offer support and comfort in these challenging times. Thanks to our network of highly-skilled volunteers across the country, more are on stand-by if they are needed.

We will continue to work closely with municipal and provincial authorities to help support people who have been affected by the flooding.
