To combat stigma, particularly against those who have survived the Ebola virus, the Red Cross is using music and television to spread messages of anti-discrimination.
In particular, two creative campaigns are addressing the harmful stigma, as well as educating and raising awareness about Ebola in West African countries hardest hit by the Ebola outbreak.

The Liberia Red Cross has
launched an anti-stigma song to support the reintegration of Ebola survivors into their communities. Titled "Let Us Live Together Again", the song promotes values such as tolerance, solidarity and compassion and encourages families and community members to welcome, accept and live together with those who have survived the disease.

Another initiative, this one by the Sierra Leone Red Cross, uses a television
soap opera to educate people about Ebola.
Advice, a new soap opera airing on the weekly Saturday night Red Cross television show, features interesting characters discussing dramatic issues, such as those surrounding Ebola. Local celebrities donated their time to take part in
Advice.
