Businesses and individuals across Atlantic Canada are helping to raise funds for the Red Cross in a variety of fun and creative ways.
For example, in Halifax, Nova Scotia, if you tune into radio station 96.5, they'll play your request for a $20 donation. At the Red Stag Tavern in Halifax, you can text to donate for a chance to win a prize.
In PEI, workplaces such as Garden Home, Whisperwood Villa, Car Stevenson McKay and HRA are having dress-down days to encourage employees to donate.
You can support the Red Cross by participating in an event near you.
Or, you can text redcross to 30333 to donate $5 from anywhere. Text donations will be matched by the law firm McInnes Cooper, a longtime supporter of the Red Cross in Atlantic Canada, until December 4th.
