Volunteers from the American Red Cross have been hard at work responding to flooding that has affected more than 18,000 homes in Colorado and caused evacuations in New Mexico and Texas. While the area braces for more rainfall over the next couple of days, volunteers are working closely with local officials to provide food, shelter, relief supplies, and comfort for those affected by the flash floods. More than 250 Red Cross disaster workers have been deployed already.
