Photo of the Day: Flood funds keep pouring in

High River_Egg-traordinary Donation_July 21,2013

It has now been almost two months since the Alberta floods, but the funds haven’t stopped pouring in. The Canadian Red Cross is seeing all kinds of donations that continue to help families get back on their feet. Pictured above, Sage and Landon Hickok and their mom, Patsy, raised close to 200 dollars for the Canadian Red Cross by selling eggs and homemade jellies at the end of their driveway at their farm near Olds, Alberta. The family drove all the way out to High River to present the money to the Red Cross. Whether the donation is large or small, it is much appreciated and it’s so great to see so many creative fundraisers out there!
