Photo of the Day: Supporting community projects in Northern Alberta

Northern Alberta Community Project Fund

The Canadian Red Cross recently allocated $2 million to fund 23 different projects in communities affected by the 2011 Northern Alberta Wildfires. These projects, ranging from providing hot lunches to students to repairing the roof of building housing a community organization, are meant to strengthen organizations to better serve people affected by the fires. Congrats to all the selected projects! More on the recovery efforts in Slave Lake and surrounding area here.
