Social worker Noura Al Momni is noticing changes in self-confidence, self-esteem, and general happiness after just two months. She uses group talks, activities, and art projects to encourage Syrians to talk about their experiences and help them establish a sense of security in their new homes. Syrian refugees have the option to take training courses to help them obtain jobs, including tailor, make-up artist, and computer training. Art helps the children cope with their experiences.
