Manitoba’s Attorney General, Andrew Swan, visited the Canadian Red Cross office in Winnipeg last month to present a $20,000 cheque in support of a new roof for the 60-year-old building. The grant was awarded through the provincial government’s “Community Places” program. Minister Swan is the MLA representing the community where the Winnipeg office is located.
