Photo of the Day: City of Brampton gives donation to Red Cross

Every day, we publish a photo to show Red Cross at work across the country or around the world. Do you have a photo to share? Let us know!

Today’s photo is from Brampton, ON, where the City presented the Canadian Red Cross with a cheque for over $2,000 for international disaster relief efforts on November 9. The money was raised by council members at their annual charity pancake breakfast earlier this year.

In the photo are Red Cross Assistant Disaster Management Coordinator, Robert Hatcher (left); City of Brampton Mayor, Susan Fennell; and the winner of the “Mayor for a Day” student contest (and “acting mayor” of the day) Noah King.

See your impact in action.
