High school students normally raise money for charities with bake sales or car washes. But, for a Lower Sackville NS high school they decided to do something different to raise money for the Canadian Red Cross Pakistan appeal: Justin Bieber music, and lots of it.
Millwood High School conducted a “Stop the Bieber” campaign to encourage students to make a donation. The student council vowed to continue playing songs by the teen pop idol over the PA system during lunch until at least $500 was raised. It only took two days to reach that goal and for the music to stop. The total raised? $600.
