Last year’s Alberta floods damaged the family’s home on the Siksika Nation and eventually forced them to move. So, the recent offer of bright, new backpacks filled with school supplies was a welcome surprise.
Walmart, RBC and BMO support Red Cross response to flooding in Saskatchewan and Manitoba
July 08, 2014 - National corporate partners like Walmart Canada and RBC; and corporate donors like BMO are helping the Canadian Red Cross assist those affected by flooding in Saskatchewan and Manitoba. Walmart is providing water and clean up supplies to meet immediate needs; RBC is accepting donations at Saskatchewan and Manitoba locations and has made a $30,000 donation. BMO has announced a $25,000 donation to help the response.
