I’ve always wanted a life that I can be proud of. I get the most satisfaction out of helping others. This was temporarily taken away from me in 2012. I live with a progressive neuromuscular disease that has left me a quadriplegic.

More than 30 years ago, Dr. Praphan Phanuphak diagnosed the first three cases of HIV in Thailand. The Canadian Red Cross is working with the Honduran Red Cross to help build their capacity as part of the CERA program. This program, with support from the Government of Canada, means that the Honduran Red Cross will be better prepared to respond to disasters and emergencies.
