Photo of the Day: Paramedics help wounded in Gaza

ICRC Gaza

Palestine Red Crescent paramedics evacuate an injured boy in Gaza during recent conflict in the region. Paramedics worked around the clock under very difficult security conditions to treat casualties and evacuate them to Gazan hospitals. The ICRC supplied the paramedics and hospitals with medicines and other medical supplies.

Paramedics from Magen David Adom (Israeli national society) emergency medical service have also been helping civilians injured in the hostilities.
